Hunger Hits Home

Food insecurity means parents are skipping meals so that their kids have dinner. It means they can't consistently access enough nutritious food—it's the reality for over 1 million Georgia children.

1 in 6 children in Metro Atlanta go to bed hungry
57% of food-insecure Georgians earn too much to qualify for SNAP
Most food-insecure families have jobs—they're choosing between rent and groceries, gas and dinner
